All Regional Finals are buzzer-based online competitions. In each Regional Final, there will be 3 preliminary rounds and 1 final round. There are 30 tossup questions per round for Varsity and Junior Varsity divisions and 25 questions for Middle School and Elementary divisions.

Eligibility:
In order to compete in the Academic Bee, you must be 19 years or younger at the time of the competition. You must also be enrolled in a primary or secondary school at the time of your regional tournament (or have graduated within the past two months, and not yet have started university studies).

Divisions:
Varsity: born in August 2005 or earlier
Junior Varsity: born between September 2005 and August 2007
Middle School: born between September 2007 and August 2009
Elementary: born in or after September 2009
*Divisions can be combined if not enough students are registered in a division.

2021-22 Online Regional Finals Spring League competitions:

Eligibility:
Regional Final tournaments are ONLY open to students who have qualified through Online Regional Qualifying Exams (ORQE). You can find whether you are qualified or not on the ORQE website by signing in with your Student ID. Students must have completed the ORQE before March 20, 2022 to be eligible to compete in the Spring League Regional Finals.

Students who cancel their registration for free prior to the registration deadline. Students dropping after the registration deadline owe 100% of their registration fees.
